“Boy Meets World” star Trina McGee is pregnant at 54

McGee, who played Angela, says she's signing off social media "for a bit."

Boy or girl, meet world.

Trina McGee, a former star of Boy Meets World, has revealed that she's expecting her fourth child.

"At the tender age of 54 I have found myself pregnant," she wrote in a text post, set to the music of "Baby Love." "Please bless us with your prayers for a safe delivery. Thank you."

She captioned it, "Gonna sign off social media for a bit. Thanks for your prayers and well wishes in advance."

McGee appeared on dozens of episodes of the ABC sitcom between 1997 and 2000. She played Angela Moore, the best friend of Topanga (Danielle Fishel), the girlfriend of Ben Savage's Cory Matthews — the boy in the title. Angela was a love interest of Shawn (Rider Strong).

In 2015, McGee appeared on an episode of Girl Meets World, a reboot starring Fishel. Last year, she had a small Boy Meets World reunion when she acted in the Fishel-directed dramedy Classmates. Her other credits — she's sometimes credited as Trina McGee-Davis — include TV's A Different World, Family Matters, and Martin, and the Sylvester Stallone movie Daylight.

According to ET, who published an exclusive interview with the actress following her announcement, McGee shares her other children — all adults — from previous relationships. This will be her first with producer Marcello Thedford, whom she's been married to since 2008, after meeting on Daylight.

"Just sheer joy, sheer joy, and I don't partake in any of the negativity anybody has to say about it," McGee told the outlet. "I am so happy. I have been blessed, and that's it. And all I'm concerned about — I only have one job now — is to have this baby, and that's what I'm about."
