A first look at To All the Boys spin-off series XO, Kitty has been unveiled in a preview clip.

The new Netflix show will centre on Lara Jean Covey's younger sister Katherine Song (aka Kitty), with Anna Cathcart returning to the role from the main movie series.

The show focuses on the matchmaker as she moves halfway across the world to reconnect with her long-distance boyfriend, though soon realises relationships are much more complex when your own heart is on the line.

In the first-look clip, Kitty gives a presentation on love and "destiny" to her dad and Trina, with a nod to them as well as Lara Jean and Peter, before revealing she has gotten the same scholarship to Korea as her mum, meaning she will be travelling there.

XO, Kitty is set to comprise of ten 30-minute episodes, with original book author Jenny Han and Sascha Rothchild (GLOW) acting as showrunners.

The To All the Boys franchise was last on our screens with 2021's third movie Always and Forever, though at the time star Lana Condor spoke about the possibility of a fourth movie.

"I think never say never. [But] the third is all I know. To me, that's the ending," she told The New York Times.

"But I would really like to see Lara Jean and Peter in their mid-to-late 20s. Like they've gone through college and I want to see what they're like in the work space.

"I have this dream that Lara Jean is working in some realm of literature, I don't know, in New York, writing, living her life."

XO, Kitty will stream on Netflix from May 18.
