Sixty is looking good for Brad Pitt.

After the Babylon actor's recent 60th birthday celebrations, a source tells PEOPLE that he "seems more relaxed than before."

"He's certainly more at ease than he has been in the past few years," the source continues, adding that Pitt and girlfriend Ines de Ramon "seem very comfortable when they're together."

On how the Oscar winner feels turning 60, the source says, "Look, he's Brad Pitt. He's handsome, intelligent, famous and free. In his place, I'd be happy at any age."

Pitt and de Ramon had their first public outing together in November 2022, when they were photographed at a Bono concert in Los Angeles. At the time, sources told PEOPLE that the two had been dating for "a few months."

De Ramon has been by his side over the past week, as the two marked their respective back-to-back birthdays (his 60th on Monday, her 34th on Tuesday).

Their celebratory time together kicked off with a long weekend at a luxury hotel in Paris off the Champs-Elysees, which another source tells PEOPLE was a surprise for Pitt.

For the whirlwind trip, Pitt and de Ramon hopped on commercial flight to Paris and spent most of the time in their hotel, ordering "a lot of room service," adds the source.

"Brad went in not knowing what to expect," says the latter source, adding that the couple appeared "extremely excited and giddy together."

And at the Théâtre du Châtelet, where they attended a folk-rock concert by Asaf Avidan, Pitt and de Ramon "were not spotted by onlookers and managed to remain incognito, which was very shocking," the source adds.

Following their Paris trip, Pitt and de Ramon were joined by friends for an intimate gathering at Mother Wolf in Los Angeles Tuesday night.

According to an onlooker, about 30 guests total began arriving to the restaurant around 8 p.m. and started to depart about four hours later, after spending time in a private room of the restaurant. The onlooker also told PEOPLE "there weren't any other celebrities" at the laid-back affair.

"Brad was in a good mood and friendly with staff," another source told PEOPLE, adding that de Ramon "was affectionate with him [and] put her hands on him."

"His smile kinda says it all," the onlooker noted of Pitt. "Literally it looked like everyone had a smile on their faces as they exited."
