Brad Pitt talks extraterrestrial life, space travel and the environment
Pitt journeyed to Venice, Italy, on Thursday (August 29) to premiere his new space epic "Ad Astra", which is screening at the 76th Venice Film Festival.
In the movie Pitt plays an astronaut who is sent into outer space to look for his father, played by Tommy Lee Jones, who disappeared while leading a secret mission.
"I like to believe there is (life) somewhere. To what degree, more advanced than us, less? Who knows. I like to believe that there is," Pitt said when asked if he believed in extraterrestrial life.
He said that while opportunities for commercial space travel were becoming greater, his willingness to embark on such a journey was diminishing with age.
