Bradley Cooper Jokes He'd Rather Have an Eagles Super Bowl Win in 2024 Than an Oscar
The director and actor spoke about the extent of his Eagles fandom while on The Howard Stern Show on Monday

It must be a Philly thing!
In a guest appearance on The Howard Stern Show Monday, Bradley Cooper discussed his latest movie — and revealed a surprising answer when the host asked him about the extent of his Philadelphia Eagles fandom.
Appearing on the show to talk about his turn as the director and star of the Leonard Bernstein biopic Maestro, Stern gave Cooper what the talk show host thought would be a tough decision.
“Sophie’s Choice for 2024,” Stern, 69, said to the Philadelphia-area native. “You win the Oscar — not only for Best Director but Best Actor and Carey Mulligan wins Best Actress — or the Eagles have a Super Bowl victory?”
Cooper hardly hesitated with his answer.

"The Eagles Super Bowl victory,” he said with a laugh, and then added: “I’m sick.”
Cooper — who played an Eagles über-fan in Silver Linings Playbook — is a frequent sighting at Lincoln Financial Field, so much so that Stern poked fun at his dedication.

“You’re like becoming the Taylor Swift for the Eagles,” Stern said. “Because when you’re there at the games, they’re cutting to you at the owner’s box the entire game.” (Including this past Sunday's big matchup against the Buffalo Bills)
Cooper then shared that when he made the 2010 movie also starring Jennifer Lawrence that the “Eagles opened up their enterprise to us to a large degree,” and that he became friends with then-Eagles coach, and now-Kansas City Chiefs coach Andy Reid.
These days, the Academy Award-nominated actor said he brings his six-year-old daughter Lea De Seine, who he shares with ex Irina Shayk, to the games and proudly noted she knows when the Eagles’ offense or defense is on the field.
Yet, Stern joked, there should be a cap on how much Cooper-as-an-Eagles fan should be able to fly, so to speak.
“Do you get uptight about asking to go to every game?” Stern asked and then added, “Because you can’t go to every game.”
The star laughed and then replied: “Okay, I’m glad you’re telling me that."
