Breaking Bad's Bob Odenkirk joins The Bear season 2
Things are set to hot up even more in the Original Beef of Chicagoland kitchen as Bob Odenkirk joins the case of The Bear for season 2.
The Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul star is reported to be joining the popular FX show in a guest role, according to Variety.
The second season of The Bear will premiere in June with Shameless star Jeremy Allen White reprising his role as Carmen Berzatto, an elite chef who swapped the bright lights of fine dining to return home and run his family's Chicago sandwich shop following the death of his brother Michael.
Abby Elliott stars as Carmy's sister Natalie, while Ebon Moss-Bachrach plays Michael's best friend Richie Jerimovich.

Ayo Edebiri, Lionel Boyce, Liza Colón-Zayas, Edwin Lee Gibson, Corey Hendrix, Matty Matheson, Richard Esteras, and José M. Cervantes complete the cast as The Bear's rag-tag bunch of kitchen staff.
Following its premiere last year, The Bear became FX's most-watched half-hour series and won a number of awards, including White's Golden Globe for Best Actor in a Television Series – Musical or Comedy.
Earlier this year, showrunner Christopher Storer teased what's next for the acclaimed series.
Speaking to reporters at the Television Critics Association press tour (via TVLine), Storer said season two is where the show "properly begins".

"It almost feels like season 1 was sort of, 'Let's catch up', and season two is sort of like where the show properly begins, once we've met everyone and seen their backstory," he said.
"So it's been cool to just expand the world and just learn more about [the characters]."
The Bear season 1 is available to stream on Hulu and Disney+, with season 2 being released in June 2023.
