Britain's Got Talent spoilers ahead.

Simon Cowell decided to award a pair of Ukrainian rollerskaters his second Golden Buzzer in the latest instalment of Britain's Got Talent.

Married couple Vlada and Yevhenii (known professionally as Duo Stardust) began their time on stage by revealing they'd been inspired by the show's 2015 contestants Billy and Emily, who wowed the nation with their own sets of wheels.

Having already sent Japanese dance troupe CyberAgent Legit straight through to the semi-finals last month, judge Cowell was egged on by the crowd to repeat the confetti shower gesture, and he soon obliged.

Their performance involved Yevhenii spinning Vlada around by her ankles while circling a table on skates, before taking things up a notch on a high-wire.

Judge Bruno Tonioli told the auditionees: "So impressive! The combination of rollerskating and aerialism was so spectacular, so thrilling. Perfection!"

"That is how you do it," added Alesha Dixon, "honestly you knocked it out of the park. That was sensational and you look incredible together, both of you, stunning!"

Next to praise the rollerskaters was Amanda Holden, who weighed in with: "This show is always about raising the levels every single year and I'm gonna say it... you did and it was insane. It was amazing!"

Meanwhile, over on social media, Britain's Got Talent fans were equally as enthralled by Duo Stardust's heart-in-your-mouth display.

"WOW!!! Duo Stardust were out of this world. So ambitious and so daring," tweeted one viewer. "Those spins had me on the edge of my seat. We've seen roller skating on BGT but nothing like this degree of difficultly."

A second wrote: "Duo Stardust, Wow wow wow."

Britain's Got Talent resumes next Saturday (June 1) on ITV1 and ITVX.
