LONDON (Reuters) - British insurer Aviva <AV.L> said on Wednesday it had advised its staff in the UK to work from home following the British government's introduction of a raft of new measures to combat the spread of coronavirus.

"In line with government advice, we have advised our people to work from home if possible," a spokesperson for Aviva said.

"Most colleagues at Aviva are able to carry on working remotely, but for those who are not, our offices remain open, and Covid secure."
