MANCHESTER, England (Reuters) - British Prime Minister Theresa May said on Tuesday that the European Parliament vote against opening talks yet on future trade was not unexpected. "I don't think that vote was particularly an unexpected one," May told Sky. "I have put an offer out there as what the future partnership for the UK and the EU could be. Now we wait to hear from the EU what their response is," she said. (Reporting by Guy Faulconbridge; editing by Kate Holton)
