Broncos Quarterback Zach Wilson’s Ex-Girlfriend Is Engaged to His Former Teammate: ‘She Said YES’

Wilson's former Brigham Young University teammate Dax Milne revealed on July 8 that he had proposed to Abbey Gile

The ex-girlfriend of Denver Broncos quarterback Zach Wilson is set to tie the knot with his former teammate.

On Monday, July 8, Wilson's ex-girlfriend Abbey Gile appeared in new engagement photos with her wide receiver boyfriend, Dax Milne, 25, who is 24-year-old Wilson’s former Brigham Young University teammate.

“She said YES❤️💍,” Milne, who plays for the Washington Commanders, wrote in his caption as he shared three snaps of the couple from the beachside proposal.

In the first photo, Milne got down on one knee on a white blanket as Gile covered her mouth and held onto a bouquet of roses.

The two were then captured posing on the white blanket, which was surrounded by white flowers, red petals, candles and framed photos of the pair.

The post concluded with a photo of Gile showing off her sparkling engagement ring as Milne flashed a grin.

Gile’s engagement comes after Wilson revealed earlier this month that he had popped the question to his girlfriend Nicolette Dellanno on the Amalfi Coast in Italy.

"To the love of my life, I never truly understood what love was until I met you," Wilson wrote alongside a carousel post. "You’re not just my partner, but my best friend and my everything. I can’t wait to make a lifetime of memories with you, Nic❤️I love you."

"I love you so much🥹 best friend for life," Dellanno added in the comment section.

Dellanno then wrote on her Instagram page, "Zach, you are the best thing that has ever happened to me. Every day I admire your strength and I’m so incredibly proud of you. I’m so in love with you and can’t wait to spend the rest of our lives together🤍i love you," she wrote in the caption.

Wilson and Dellanno began dating in 2022 following his split from Gile, who he had dated since high school.
