BTS Content Coming This Summer Through HYBE & Kocowa+ Pact

EXCLUSIVE: Shows featuring K-pop megastars BTS will roll out this summer on Korean content streamer Kocowa+, which has struck a partnership with HYBE.

From June to September, Kocowa+ will release BTS’ live concert performances, documentaries and reality shows from HYBE’s existing content library. Every batch of content release on the platform will be paired with watch-parties and live events called ‘Kococraves’ for global fans to connect and engage with each other.

“Like the rest of the world, Kocowa+ is a huge fan of BTS, and we are thrilled to be able to release 13 new titles on our platform to celebrate BTS’ debut anniversary with fans as we expand our global footprint,” said Kun-hee Park, Kocowa’s CEO. “Since Kocowa+ houses the largest library of Korean content outside of Korea, and through our new partnership with HYBE, we now have thousands of hours of BTS content on our platform for fans to consume. We are proud to be the ultimate destination for the best in K-pop and all other Korean content.”

With the addition of new shows under this partnership with HYBE, Kocowa+ will have a library of more than 40 shows featuring BTS and its members.

Kocowa+ has already released some of the band’s iconic live shows like BTS Magic Shop, BTS Bang Bang Con and BTS Love Yourself on the platform ahead of this year’s June 13 ‘Be there soon Festa’ (an annual event celebrating the group’s debut). On that day, Kocowa+ will release docu-series and films offering a behind-the-scenes look at the band members’ lives during the BTS Break the Silence and BTS Break the Soul tours.

To celebrate ARMY Day, an event dedicated to the band’s fans, on July 9, Kocowa+ will release BTS In The Soop, which features the band taking a break together in a remote forest location.

The platform will also hold watch parties timed with BTS members’ birthdays. September 1 will focus on BTS member Jung Kook while September 12 will focus on RM.

Furthermore, Kocowa+ will also provide appearances of BTS members on other top shows like the juggernaut Running Man series, Idol Star Athletics Championships, Hwarang: Warrior Poet, Beat Coin and Law of the Jungle. Other shows that will be available include BTS Rookie King, taking fans behind the scenes into the members’ lives shortly after their debut, as well as BTS Variety Chronicles and Celebrity Bromance.

KOCOWA+ is available in North, Central, and South America, Brazil, the UK, the EU, and Oceania. Livestream events will be available to subscribers only.
