Seems like love has run out for one of K-pop’s supposed power couples.

According to South Korean media outlet JTBC, which quoted sources from the entertainment industry, BTS’ V and Blackpink’s Jennie have called it quits.

Their respective labels, Big Hit Music and YG Entertainment, never confirmed their relationship but the two have been spotted out and about.

News of their relationship started after photos of two people (who resemble V and Jennie) visiting Jeju Island went viral.

It was also that V, and his friends, were invited to the private listening party of Blackpink’s second album.

Earlier in May, a video of what seems to be V and Jennie holding hands and taking a night stroll along the Seine in Paris had netizens freaking out. However, the video was filmed from some distance away and the pair’s faces are not clearly visible.

Yet, it didn’t stop the rumour mill among fans from working overtime.

Both their companies declined to comment on the recent breakup news.

Besides, these K-pop idols also have upcoming plans.

V, along with bandmates Jimin, RM, and Jung Kook, will be enlisting in the military soon.

As for Blackpink, it was announced on 6 Dec by YG Entertainment that the group members have renewed their contracts with the agency for "group activities".
