The Buffy the Vampire Slayer cast had a mini-reunion over the weekend.

Sarah Michelle Gellar, who starred as the titular character, shared a series of photos to her Instagram account showing herself alongside Seth Green and Emma Caulfield, who played Oz and Anya, respectively. The actress revealed that the trio had come together to go see Ed Sheeran in celebration of her daughter's birthday.

"My daughter wanted her 14 bday party to be at @teddysphotos concert at @sofistadium," Gellar wrote. "Her guest list may not have been what you expected (also swipe to last pic to see how to make a concert tee a great dress) Also I really love these people."

Sheeran himself is a Buffy the Vampire Slayer super-fan, and was surprised by a video messaged from Gellar during a 2021 appearance on The One Show, where she revealed that she once had to put together a Sheeran-themed quiz for her daughter's school.

Meanwhile, Gellar and Green recently attended a Taylor Swift concert together, so it looks like they are officially each other's gig buddy.

Just a few weeks ago, it was announced that multiple cast members were reuniting for an official Buffy project: a Spike-centric audio drama set 20 years after the show's ending, coming to Audible.

Caulfield is back, as is James Marsters as Spike (obviously), while Anthony Head, Charisma Carpenter, Juliet Landau, Amber Benson, James Charles Leary, and Danny Strong are back as Giles, Cordelia, Drusilla, Tara, Clem and Jonathan, respectively.

"I'm ecstatic to be back with my dear friends for this next chapter in the Buffyverse, as we take listeners on a familiar but unexpected journey chock full of horror, passion and mischief," Marsters said.

The drama will see Spike end up in an alternate universe where Buffy never existed, and characters dead in the main continuity are still alive.
