Callum Turner has got Dua Lipa in love again. This actor-singer pairing has been linked since January, when they were spotted slow dancing at his Masters of the Air premiere afterparty in Los Angeles. I mean, it’s no wonder Dua Lipa’s losing all her cool.

Since then, the The Boys in the Boat actor and “Training Season” singer have been photographed out and about several more times—and they certainly aren’t ones to shy away from PDA, always kissing and holding hands. Callum and Dua even attended this year’s Grammys and BAFTAs afterparties together, where they couldn’t keep their hands off of each other again.

One thing all of their pap shots have in common: Callum seems “highly protective” of Dua, says Patti Wood, a body language expert with Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Body Language and Nonverbal Communication based in Atlanta, Georgia. This celeb couple clearly loves physical touch, so keep reading to learn just what their body language reveals about their budding romance.

Meet the Expert: Patti Wood is a body language expert with Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Body Language and Nonverbal Communication based in Atlanta, Georgia.

Callum takes on a 'protector role' when he's with Dua.

The pair attended a British Vogue and Tiffany & Co. party on February 19. In this candid snap, it looks like the couple is walking through some paparazzi, and Callum isn't here for it. "The top of his forehead, the center over the nose, [is] furled in anger" and his "glare is towards the paparazzi," says Wood.

However, due to the way Callum guides Dua through the chaos of cameras, she feels safe. "The peace on her face lets me know she's fine," explains Wood. "She knows she can depend on him to be her guard and protector."

In fact, the way Callum holds Dua's hand in an upward position— meaning, his hand is lifting hers up—is typical of what someone does when they take on a "protector role," Wood says. Additionally, their fingers are interlaced equally (one person isn't gripping harder than the other), making Dua feel secure, not pushed, pulled, or dominated, she adds.

Callum feels childlike joy when he's with Dua.

Here, Dua and Callum are seen going to (or coming from) the Warner Music & Cîroc Vodka BRIT Awards afterparty on March 2 in London. Callum is looking at Dua with childlike joy on his face, as if "he just finished the most incredible Lego creation of all, and she's it," Wood says. Meanwhile, his body has "upward forward energy" in his torso, shown through the way he leans forward and grips the car seat in front of him. This means he's feeling happiness and joyfulness and it's motivated by Dua, according to Wood.

Meanwhile, Dua has a huge grin on her face, evidenced by her lifted mouth and cheeks. This facial expression is a "mixture of big delight and a little bit of shyness" that represents true happiness, Wood says. Adorable!

Dua leans into him when she protects herself in public.

On March 26, the couple arrived at the London St. Pancras train station, where Dua appears to be protecting herself from the paparazzi by closing her coat, per Wood. Still, she's comfy with Callum here because her mouth isn't tight with tension—it's serene. Plus, her purse is on the outside of her body, instead of the inside, which would create more space between the two of them. Both of these details signify that "she wants to be closer to him," says Wood.

Callum seems like he's just happy to be there, with an open-mouth smile showing his front teeth. "As he's walking in this very public space, he's happy and enraptured by her," Wood explains. Not to mention, they're quite literally moving as a couple here, with their right feet stepping forward, she adds.

They're in sync as a couple.

Again, Callum is trying to protect Dua from the paps, as he reaches out to support her. However, he's not happy about it, as his focus is on the camera, and there's tension around his mouth and forehead. Dua is tense, too, as she shields her face with her hand and sunglasses.

Despite their obvious discomfort, these two are still in step with one another—literally. "Their body orientation is in sync," Wood says, because they're facing the same direction and are moving together.

They lift each other up.

Dua was beaming when she and Callum were photographed on a dinner date in New York City on April 25. Her facial structure is up, open, and wide, shown through her eyes and mouth, and her chin is lifted, which, Wood says, is a clear indication that she's happy in this moment.

Again, Callum is being "protective of their relationship," Wood says, evidenced by the position of his pelvis, which is pointing a little bit towards Dua. But it's not all serious bodyguard vibes—the upward, supportive handhold signifies they're lifting each other up in this moment.

Overall, these two seem solid in their relationship. Callum feels the need to be very protective of her when they're out and about, Wood says, and Dua is extremely comfortable and trusts him. That's hotter than hell!
