Cameron Brink can do it all.

The 22-year-old LA Sparks rookie's celebrity status has skyrocketed since she was drafted into the WNBA in April, earning praise from the likes of Kim Kardashian and Shohei Ohtani, and making headlines for her selection to the women's 3x3 Olympic basketball team.

Amid her busy schedule, the Princeton, New Jersey native, whose godbrothers are none other than Steph and Seth Curry, shares her favorite way to spend her free time with boyfriend Ben Felter in a new interview with PEOPLE.

"My boyfriend has turned me into a huge art lover," says Brink. "I love pottery and watercolor, even though I'm terrible."

"It's really lovely to just sit down and work your brain in a different way for a little bit," she says of her new hobby, comparing it to another joy of hers — getting glam.

"I take pride in doing my own hair and makeup a lot. I love to do my own makeup," Brink says. I think for me, it is obviously fun to get glam, but it's very meditative to just go throughout the process."

When she and Felter, who was a rower at Stanford when he and Brink met, aren't flexing their artistic muscles, the Sparks forward says she loves surfing. "Oh — and I taught myself how to juggle," she reveals.

Brink was selected No. 2 overall by the Sparks, just behind Indiana Fever guard Caitlin Clark. The WNBA's 2024 season has been the league's most successful yet, but the added eyes have also inspired discourse around 22-year-old Clark's impact on the women's league.

Brink says she doesn't pay attention to the narratives, however. "I tune it out. I love the media, but I think it's healthy to just do what my job is and that is to play basketball," she says.

When she does need to vent, about basketball or anything else, Brink says her parents, former Virginia Tech players Greg Brink and Michelle Bain-Brink, are the "best support system."

"As we speak, my parents are moving me into my apartment, so I could not be more thankful for them. It's been hectic," Brink shares, excited that she's "finally moving into a spot" in Los Angeles.

"They're my everything," she says of her parents. "I've learned literally everything from my parents. They both played at Virginia Tech, so having them as sounding board people I can only vent to, and honestly, they're just so fun to be around. They're my besties."

The family ties run deep for the Brinks and Currys. Brink says her godbrother Seth Curry's wife, Callie Rivers Curry, helps handle some of her professional obligations. "I just adore her, so it's just a great intersection of family and business," says Brink. "I'm very lucky to have a great village around me."

When it comes to staying on top of her game, Brink's fans know she turns to Optimum Nutrition, especially now that she's adjusting to life in the WNBA. "It's definitely been a huge adjustment, one that I have to work on every single day and I have to get used to just my life being completely different," Brink says of the pros.

"I'm starting to do lift post-game now and it's honestly really exhausting. You play a whole 30, 40 minute game and the best time, honestly, to lift and get in that injury prevention is right after the game, so it's important to have protein right after that."

Brink's favorite product from the nutrition brand is the Gold Standard Whey Protein Powder, which she's incorporated into her daily routine.

"I feel like a lot, especially with this W season and my whole career shifting, there's always been more of me to give, and I'm glad that I'm working with a brand that reminds me of that," Brink says of her partnership with Optimum Nutrition Day

"You always have that little bit of effort and energy in you. Whether that's shooting extra, getting in a lift after the game, or just being a good teammate, there's always more of you in you."
