Camila Cabello Recalls ‘Nightmare Situation’ at Met Gala With Ice Block Purse, Shimmers in Natalia Fedner Miniskirt for ‘Jimmy Fallon’ Appearance
Camila Cabello made a glittering appearance on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” on Wednesday. The singer chatted with the eponymous late-night host and later performed a song from her forthcoming album “C, Xoxo.”
For the interview segment of her appearance, Cabello favored a shimmering corset and miniskirt courtesy of Natalia Fedner. The dress featured an ornate, metal resin corset and a silver chain miniskirt with semi-sheer elements. The corset was formed and shaped around Cabello’s frame, and featured a sculpted neckline and bodice.

Cabello coordinated the look with complementary shoes and jewelry pieces. The singer fashioned a pair of translucent sandal heels courtesy of Giuseppe Zanotti. As for her glittering pieces of jewelry, Cabello opted for pieces designed by Kyle Chan Design.
Cabello’s icy blond hair was styled with a side part and flowed to the singer’s waist. Her makeup also featured bold eyes and a soft lip. Cabello’s entire look was curated by stylist Katie Qian. Qian worked with Tyla on the singer’s viral Met Gala look by Balmain.
During her interview with Fallon, Cabello discussed her time at the 2024 Met Gala, for which she fashioned a dress by Ludovic de Saint Sernin. “I don’t know if you guys know, but you’re not allowed to take anybody with you to the Met Gala. So if you are wearing, like, a complicated dress or anything…you’re just there,” Cabello said.
“So, I get there, I get this purse that we took out of a freezer, which was ice. It’s just a block of ice,” Cabello said, referring to her purse, which featured a gold rose in a block of ice. “I didn’t think about the fact that ice very quickly melts. I get there and it’s just my worst — just a nightmare situation.” Cabello explained the chain that was initially on the purse broke off and she carried the block of ice as a clutch.
Following her interview, Cabello performed a song from her forthcoming album, “C, Xoxo.” Cabello changed her look, wearing a minidress featuring bands of fabric in shades of gray for her performance of “I Luv It.”
Cabello paired the look with long black gloves and knee-high combat boots.
“C, Xoxo” is Cabello’s fourth studio album. Two already-released singles from the album include “I Luv It,” released on March 27, and “He Knows,” which released on May 10. The album features collaborations with Playboi Carti, Drake and Lil Nas X, among others, and debuts June 28.
