Camila Mendes stepped out in a pair of lace pointed-toe pumps by Femme LA for the Los Angeles Premiere of “The Strangers: Chapter 1” at Regal LA Live on Wednesday evening.
Showing support to “Riverdale” co-star Madelaine Petsch, the choice was in-line with what the actress has been preferring in her footwear closet in recent months. In April, Mendes kept it chic in a pair of dark red pointed shoes for the “Música” screening in New York City. The shoes featured a gleaming model alongside a sharp, pointed-toe design that was finished by a stiletto heel measuring between 3 and 4-inches.
Also in April, Mendes was photographed at SiriusXM wearing a pair of Mach & Mach Corset slingback pumps while giving an interview. The shoes were crafted with patent leather material, and featured a one-of-a-kind corset design alongside a 3.7-inch heel that added extra height to the style. The pumps mirrored the ones worn by the star at “The Strangers: Chapter 1” premiere on Wednesday.
About the shoes
Mendes’ shoes offered a sophisticated look thanks to its unique corset design. The silhouette also included a sharp angular pointed-toe design that complemented its patent leather construction. While the back of the shoe couldn’t fully be seen, Mendes has previously been known to wear pump styles with a thin stiletto heel that ranges between 3 and 4 inches, so it’s likely the heel height of the pair worn on Wednesday is around that same measurement.
Camila Mendes’ Shoe Style
Mendes is known for preferring pointed-toe shoes for red carpet appearances. On March 27, the actress walked the film’s green carpet in Miami Beach in a pair of sheer pointed-toe shoes, embracing the sheer trend that has quickly become a popular staple in fashion throughout 2024 thus far. Similar to the corset pair she donned for Wednesday night’s red carpet, the back of the shoes were slightly hidden underneath the long train of her dress with only the front portion of the silhouette visible. In September 2023, the “Do Revenge” actress took the look to the next level, covering her footwear completely while in Venice for the 2023 Venice Film Festival.
