Cardi B Bursts With Color in 3D Florals and Feathers at Marc Jacobs’ Fall 2024 Runway Show in New York

Cardi B was among the A-list guests who attended the Marc Jacobs fall 2024 ready-to-wear collection show in New York City on Monday. The rapper wholly embraced summertime, fashioning a look that harkened back to a trend seen on the Met Gala 2024 red carpet in May.

For the fashion show at the New York Public Library, Cardi wore a voluminous silk organza minidress with a bevy of floral appliqués in shades of yellow, white and purple reminiscent of a pansy. The delicate fabric of the frock cascaded over the “Money” rapper, and featured a hemline inches above the knee. The dress, part of Jacob’s spring 2020 ready-to-wear collection, also featured layers of feathers.

Although Cardi’s three-dimensional florals were ideal for the summertime season, the look was reminiscent of a trend seen on the 2024 Met Gala red carpet. The 2024 Met Gala’s theme, “The Garden of Time,” was a nod to the “Sleeping Beauties: Reawakening Fashion” exhibit at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City. Naturally, a bevy of stars opted for floral inspiration for their respective looks at the event.
