Don't mess with Carly Pearce's faith!

After the country singer, 34, was accused of supporting the devil for sharing a photo that some fans thought featured a satanic reference earlier this week, she took to social media and spoke passionately about her religious beliefs on June 12.

The confusion was sparked after Pearce shared a few images from her performance at CMA Fest this month, one of which saw her standing on ground marked with "668" — but the final digit is obscured, leading some to think it said "666."

"I've seen too many comments about this being some sort of 'hint' towards 666 or satan to not comment," she wrote on X (formerly Twitter) following the chatter.

"First of all, this was the parking spot for my tour bus at CMA fest & I believe it is 668," added Pearce. "I am a devout Christian who takes PRIDE in using my platform to point people towards JESUS."

"So, for anyone wondering... there are absolutely ZERO underlying messages except a girl excited to be playing the big stage," she concluded.

Pearce recently dropped her latest album, Hummingbird, which arrives after her 2020 divorce from fellow artist Michael Ray and 2023 split from Nashville real estate businessman Riley King after two years of dating.

"Hummingbirds are a sign that the healing process can begin, and that good luck is on the way," she told PEOPLE in an interview earlier this month.

"To me, that’s kind of what this whole album was. It was my healing journey, and it was very messy at times," added Pearce. "Even in the songs that are sad, there’s this underlying realization that there’s a reason you’re hurting, and it’s for something bigger. I don’t think that was where I was during [previous album] 29."

In a candid video shared to Instagram on May 30, the "We Don't Fight Anymore" singer revealed she’s been having some health problems involving her heart.

“I have always been transparent and honest about every part of my life so I feel like this deserves the same honesty,” Pearce began. “You guys know that I’ve been dealing with some health issues and through that, I have developed something called pericarditis, which is a heart issue.”

Pericarditis is swelling and irritation of the thin, sac-like tissue surrounding the heart, according to the Mayo Clinic. It causes sharp chest pain, which could spread to the shoulders and neck.

Other symptoms include fatigue, coughing, swelling of the legs or feet, low-grade fever, shortness of breath and heart palpitations.

Pearce encouraged her followers to stay on top of their health.

“I’m a young healthy person that really watches what I eat and exercises and this happened to me,” she said. “So I just want to use my platform to tell you to take care of your body and listen to it and just know that if it’s trying to tell you something it’s gonna tell you.”
