CBS cancels 'Limitless' after just one season

CBS TV Studios has cancelled "Limitless" after just one season.

After some rumors and uncertainty surrounding whether the show would continue, possibly on another network, the news was confirmed by the show's writer and producer Craig Sweeny on his Twitter account.

The series was based on the 2011 movie of the same name starring Bradley Cooper. Cooper also served on the show as executive producer and appeared as a recurring guest star, reprising his role from the film.

Last month's season finale now marks the finale of the whole show.
