SINGAPORE – For the first time, the Singapore Grand Prix season will extend beyond the track, including race-themed activities at three iconic locations in Singapore – Orchard Road, Clarke Quay and Kampong Glam – from 20 – 22 September. Both locals and visitors can soak in the F1 spirit in locations other than the Marina Bay area. For those looking to avoid all the cray cray but still want to be in the F1 mood, you can head to these off-track spots which still offer you the F1 experience.

From a chance to experience what it’s like to be an F1 race mechanic in the Red Bull Pit Stop Challenge, to taking a go-kart for a spin in the heart of the city, to soaking up some local music at the historic Kampong Glam precinct, the action goes far beyond what visitors will enjoy in-circuit.

Go beyond the circuit and join in the festivities!

Red Bull Pit Challenge

Do you know that in an actual Grand Prix race, a crew of 20 help turnover a car during a pit stop? The crew practises this moment thousands of times a season and it becomes second nature, like a choreographed performance – a delay anywhere in the routine, even as little as one-tenth of a second can cost the podium.

In the Red Bull Pit Stop Challenge, participants will work in teams of two to change two wheels as fast as possible. Contenders will be working on a replica Aston Martin Red Bull Racing F1 chassis weighing 880kg using real F1 pit stop tools.

The fastest times will win Red Bull Racing merchandise, with the top prize consisting of the opportunity for each player on the confirmed winning team to meet Aston Martin Red Bull Racing Drivers, Max Verstappen and Alex Albon.

A purchase of the limited edition Red Bull F1 can per person is required to participate. The limited edition can be purchased at the event.
