The Cheetah Girls TV movie made its debut on the Disney Channel in 2003 and later spawned two more installments: The Cheetah Girls 2 (2006) and The Cheetah Girls: One World (2008). Based on the book series of the same name by Deborah Gregory, the popular musical trilogy follows four rising teenage pop stars — played by Adrienne Bailon-Houghton, Raven-Symoné, Sabrina Bryan and Kiely Williams. Since One World's release, not only have fans hoped for a reunion, but Symoné has also shared her desire to get the group back together in the future.

"Another moment in culture that gave girl power, that gave fashion, that gave songs — [I'm] very blessed to be a part of that," Symoné told Entertainment Tonight in 2024 of the movies. "And can't wait to see what the future holds with that. It's gonna be interesting to see what the future holds in regards to the Cheetah Girls."

Symoné went on to explain how "if something happened where the Cheetah Girls came back together on-screen," a whole new generation of women would be able to grasp the importance of "girl community."

The movies, available to stream on Disney+, also created a strong real-life connection for at least two of its stars, Williams and Bryan, who have been "best friends" since the first film. Bryan was even a bridesmaid in Williams' 2016 wedding, and she returned the favor in 2018 when Bryan asked Williams to be her maid of honor at her wedding.

"From the first movie, we really connected," Bryan told E! News in 2024 of Williams. "And we were so sad when filming ended because we thought that was gonna be it. And then when we picked up with doing performances and then into the Christmas tour and beyond — continuing seven years — we've stayed so close."

Here's what the four cast members of The Cheetah Girls have been up to since the Disney movie series ended in 2008.

The New York City native played fashion-crazy Chanel in The Cheetah Girls. In The Cheetah Girls 2, Chanel was begrudgingly forced to visit her mother's European boyfriend in Barcelona, turning the Spanish city into the setting for the TV movie as the other girls found a way to join her.

After leaving Chanel behind, Bailon-Houghton dished about life and culture on the Emmy-winning talk show The Real alongside former co-hosts Tamar Braxton, Loni Love, Jeannie Mai and Tamera Mowry. After eight seasons, a rep confirmed to PEOPLE in 2022 that the show was ending.

In August 2022, Bailon-Houghton became the newest Cheetah mom after welcoming her son, Ever James, via surrogate with husband and gospel singer Israel Houghton.

Even though Symoné only starred as Galleria in the first two The Cheetah Girls movies, her character was a driving force for the girl group's on-screen evolution. In the first film, however, Galleria caused rifts between the friends when she got carried away trying to clinch them a record deal.

Symoné returned to Disney Channel in 2017 to star on a spinoff of her early 2000s series, That's So Raven. On Raven's Home, she played a divorced mother of two (who happens to have psychic powers!). The show even featured Adrienne Bailon, who reprised her That's So Raven character Alana. Since the spinoff ended in 2023, Symoné has lent her voice to Maria Media and other characters on the Disney animated series Big City Greens.

After meeting in 2015 and dating for nearly five years, Symoné and Miranda Pearman-Maday secretly tied the knot on June 16, 2020. The actress said her new bride "never saw That's So Raven." In November 2023, Symoné's younger brother Blaize Pearman sadly died at the age of 31, two years after he was diagnosed with colon cancer.

Sabrina Bryan as Dorinda

Bryan played Dorinda, the girl group member with a special penchant for dancing. In the first film, she revealed her troubled home life as a foster child, prompting her Cheetah sisters to put their own woes into perspective and rally in support of Dorinda.

Bryan competed on Dancing with the Stars in 2007 and returned for Dancing with the Stars: All-Stars in 2012.

The Cheetah Girl alum later lived the romantic wedding of her dreams and married strategic accounts manager Jordan Lundburg in 2018. The couple welcomed their daughter, Comillia Monroe, in August 2020.

In early 2024, Bryan launched the Disney rewatch podcast Magical Rewind with Boy Meets World star Will Friedle. Williams was one of the first guests on the podcast.

During the chat that was later shared as a clip on Instagram, Williams recounted how she and Bryan "bonded" over a dress, saying, "We'll always be besties because of that."

Kiely Williams as Aqua

Williams played the outspoken fashionista Aqua in all three installments of The Cheetah Girls.

In 2021, Williams starred on the BET reality show The Encore, which saw her and nine other female R&B stars challenged to write and record an original album in only 30 days.

Williams was the first of her former cast members to become a mother and was later the first to become a mother of two! She and her husband, Brandon Cox, now have two girls: older daughter Rowan and Archer, who was born in March 2022.
