Cole Palmer scored a late equaliser from the penalty spot to earn Chelsea a dramatic 4-4 draw against Manchester City.

Nizaar Kinsella was at Stamford Bridge witnessing the entertaining spectacle in west London.

Robert Sanchez - 6

Some of his kicking was once again poor but made a great save to stop Haaland just before half-time.

Reece James - 7

His excellent free-kick needed a good save from Ederson, coped well with Jeremy Doku having struggled against Spurs's Brennan Johnson on Monday, and set up a goal.

Axel Disasi - 5

Lost Haaland for his third goal.

Thiago Silva - 7

Scored a wonderful glancing header to equalise and produced some good front-footed defending against Haaland. Relieved his deflection did not cost Chelsea in the end.

Marc Cucurella - 5

Gave away a penalty for a shirt pull but it seemed harsh. He did generally struggle with Phil Foden but the England forward was sensational.

Enzo Fernandez - 6

Started well despite being man marked by Julian Alvarez but got taken off in the 60th minute with his impact waning.

Moises Caicedo - 5

Haaland spun Caicedo for the third goal too easily in midfield. Also got booked for a late tackle on Grealish.

Conor Gallagher - 8

His long-range shot led to Chelsea's third and he excelled at both linking and breaking up the play.

Cole Palmer - 7

Looked nervy early on but his cute through ball helped set up Chelsea's second goal and showed nerves of steel to score a late equaliser from the spot.

Nicolas Jackson - 7

Dragged his first chance tamely into Ederson's arms but was alive to the goalkeeper's unconvincing second half save to turn in Chelsea's third goal of the match.

Raheem Sterling - 9

Put Chelsea ahead and managed to threaten with his dribbling even against Kyle Walker's pace, responding to his latest England snub.
