Cher is set to perform at iHeartRadio's 2023 NYC Jingle Ball.

Cher-mas is coming early this year!

The pop icon — who released her first holiday album, Christmas, in October — is now slated to take the stage at iHeartRadio’s Jingle Ball in New York City on Friday.

On Tuesday, iHeartMedia announced that the “Believe” singer, 77, will join the already star-studded lineup for a “special performance” at Madison Square Garden.

This year, the annual concert — Jingle Ball has stopped at the iconic N.Y.C. venue since its 1996 inception — will include performances by Olivia Rodrigo, SZA, Sabrina Carpenter, OneRepublic, Jelly Roll and Big Time Rush.

Pentatonix, Doechii, Melanie Martinez and David Kushner are also slated to perform.

The iHeartRadio tour kicked off on Nov. 26 at the Amalie Arena in Tampa, Florida. It has since made stops in Dallas, Los Angeles and Chicago, and on Tuesday night, will stop in Detroit.

After N.Y.C., the festive tour will head to Boston, Washington, D.C., Philadelphia and Atlanta before wrapping at the Amerant Bank Arena in Miami on Dec. 16.

Cher — who is only slated to perform at the Madison Square Garden Jingle Ball — forayed into the holiday genre this year with Christmas, which she released on Oct. 20. The 13-track album features originals, covers and collaborations with icons like Stevie Wonder and Cyndi Lauper.

"I wanted to make a Cher Christmas album, but I didn't know how to do it," the singer told PEOPLE in October. “I never could figure out a way. Then this year, I just asked the record company if they would just let me do it — and just hand the finished product over to them — and they were agreeable, so I started picking songs.”

Cher said she did the songs “one at a time,” and when she examined the finished product, she “realized is that I have a fun Christmas album that only has a couple of sad songs.”

“I was really happy that it was eclectic, and it's really eclectic,” she said of the record. “I was proud of it myself.”

The singer described one of the originals, dance-pop earworm "DJ Play a Christmas Song” — which she performed at the 2023 Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade — as "being at Studio 54, only Studio 54 at Christmas.”

With so many collaborators (the album also features rapper Tyga and holiday music icons Darlene Love and Michael Bublé) Cher told PEOPLE that the recording experience "was like herding cats” — but it was all worth it in the end.

"When people hear this," she said of the record, "I want them to feel good.”
