A new trailer for Pain Hustlers, starring Marvel's Chris Evans and The Devil Wears Prada's Emily Blunt, has been released.

The drama, which is directed by BAFTA award winner David Yates, hits UK cinemas on October 20 before arriving on Netflix a week later.

Alongside Blunt and Evans, Pain Hustlers also stars Schitt's Creek's Catherine O'Hara, Father of the Bride's Andy García, Last Christmas's Amit Shah, Transparent's Jay Duplass, West Side Story's Brian d'Arcy James and Marry Me's Chloe Coleman.

Blunt stars as Liza Drake, a blue-collar single mom who has just lost her job and is given a lifeline after a chance meeting with pharmaceutical sales rep Pete Brenner (played by Evans).

Meeting Brenner puts Liza on an upward trajectory economically but on a dubious path ethically as she becomes entangled in a dangerous racketeering scheme.

The official synopsis reads: "Dealing with her increasingly unhinged boss (Garcia), the worsening medical condition of her daughter (Coleman), and a growing awareness of the devastation the company is causing forces Liza to examine her choices.

"Pain Hustlers is a sharp and revealing look at what some people do out of desperation and others do out of greed."

Meanwhile, Blunt recently revealed she's taking a break from acting to spend time with her family.

"This year, I'm not working. I worked quite a bit last year and my oldest baby is nine, so we're in the last year of single digits," the actress, who shares two children with husband John Krasinski, explained during an episode of iHeart's Table for Two podcast.

"And I just feel [like] there are cornerstones to their day that are so important when they're little."
