AC Milan have submitted a second increased offer of £18.9million for Chelsea winger Christian Pulisic.

The 24-year-old is increasingly close to joining the Italian giants after the Blues turned down an initial £12m bid.

The USMNT star hopes the two clubs can agree a deal soon to end a disappointing four years at Stamford Bridge.

Lyon still have a higher offer worth £21m on the table but Pulisic prefers a move to Italy.

There are also concerns about the financial health of the Ligue 1 club after reports emerged claiming the DNCG have opted to sanction them over supposed financial irregularities.

Pulisic is part of a mass exodus of players at Stamford Bridge after Mason Mount completed his £60million move to Manchester United.

Mateo Kovacic, Kai Havertz, Ruben Loftus-Cheek and N’Golo Kante are among the others who have departed.
