Christine Ng confirms reconciliation with Joel Chan
19 Jan - Hong Kong actress Christine Ng has recently confirmed Joel Chan's statement that the two of them have mended their friendship.
As reported on Oriental Daily, the actress, who appeared at the wrap-up banquet of upcoming movie "Mob Comedy" recently, stated that she learned about the news from the media.
"I never mentioned Joel for so many years, and nobody really knows if I was still angry with him. But this time, when we saw each other, we were okay," she said.
Christine stated that it was Tavia Yeung who brought Joel over to say hello to her while they were at Myolie Wu's wedding last month.
"I was happy to see him and I politely gave him a hug. After greeting each other, I felt so much better," she said.
When asked why she never mentioned Joel for so many years despite their previous friendship, Christine said that she wasn't holding on to a grudge, but that she just wanted the issue to resolve itself.
Christine and Joel's friendship ended back in 2011 while the actor was still dating casino heiress, Florinda Ho.
On Joel's 35th birthday back in 2011, Christine hinted online that the actor has called her and asked her not to find him anymore. She also deleted her previous birthday message and removed him from her Weibo friends list.
The two of them no longer communicate with each other ever since.
