Christmas and New Year's eves: Extended hours for selected SMRT train and bus services in Singapore

Longer operating hours for North-South Line, East-West Line, Circle Line and Thomson-East Coast Line, as well as some bus services

SINGAPORE — SMRT will extend its train services on the North-South Line (NSL), East-West Line (EWL), Circle Line (CCL) and Thomson-East Coast Line (TEL), as well as bus services, past midnight on the eve of Christmas and New Year.

According to a press release from SMRT on Monday (11 December), these are the timings for last train and bus services.

Christmas Eve (24 December, after midnight)

Train services:

Last NSL train departing from Orchard in both directions will leave at 1.45am;
Last EWL trains from City Hall, bound for both Pasir Ris and Tuas Link, will depart at 1.52am;
Last CCL train departing towards Dhoby Ghaut from HarbourFront will leave at 1.17am;
Last TEL train departing from Woodlands North to Gardens by the Bay will depart at 1.17am, while the train travelling in the other direction from Gardens by the Bay will depart at 1.40am.

Bus services:

Services 300, 301, 302, 307 and 983A from Choa Chu Kang bus interchange will depart at 2.45am;
Services 901, 911, 912A, 912B and 913 from Woodlands Integrated Transport Hub will depart at 2.45am;
Services 920, 922 and 973A will depart from Bukit Panjang bus interchange at 2.55am.

New Year's Eve (31 December, after midnight)

Train services:

Last NSL and EWL trains departing from City Hall to Pasir Ris, Tuas Link and Jurong East will leave at 2.15am;
Last NSL train bound for Marina South Pier will depart at 1.55am;
Last CCL train to Harbourfront from Dhoby Ghaut will depart at 1.41am;
Last TEL train departing from Woodlands North to Gardens by the Bay will leave at 1.47am, while the train travelling in the other direction from Gardens by the Bay will depart at 2.10am.

Bus services:

Services 300, 301, 302, 307 and 983A will depart from Choa Chu Kang bus interchange at 3.25am;
Services 901, 911, 912A, 912B and 913 will depart from Woodlands Integrated Transport Hub at 3.10am;
Services 920, 922 and 973A will depart from Bukit Panjang bus interchange at 3.20am.

There will be no extensions for the Bukit Panjang LRT and Changi Airport train service on both dates.
