He also included a picture of a younger Sophia posing with his wife, artist Sherman Williams, as well as a throwback snap of him and his daughter in the pool together.

In the silly shot, Meloni rocks a pair of purple pool goggles while Sophia floats beside him, smiling in a tiny purple pool floatie.

He then finished the post with some more recent shots of Sophia, and captioned the carousel, “Bananas, beaches, love, creativity.”

“So happy you came to us @sophiaemeloni,” he wrote. “So happy you let me glom on to ur B Day.”

“Happy 23,” he added.

In the same interview, he gave a glimpse into the kids’ personalities and biggest differences.

"One is more of an old soul. I never used that term until they came out of the womb and I looked in their eyes. I was like, 'Holy cow, look at you. You're here to teach me,' " the actor said. "As well as the other one, who's a young soul. It's ever-evolving and a complete fulfillment of my life."

And both kids seemingly inherited Meloni’s sense of humor, celebrating his own day with a hilarious gift a few years ago.
