COE prices close mostly higher in bidding exercise
Certificates of entitlement (COE) premiums ended mostly higher in the bidding exercise on Wednesday.
COE prices for Category A cars (1,600cc and below) saw a drop to $65,001 from $66,010 in the previous bidding.
Premiums for Category B cars (above 1,600cc or 130 bhp) jumped to $76,889 from $75,289.
Prices for open category COEs, which can be used for any vehicle type but are largely used for bigger cars, went up to $76,790 from $75,200.
Commercial vehicles COEs, which include goods vehicles and buses closed at $55,012, almost unmoved from the previous bidding’s $55,011.
Premiums for motorcycles closed at $4,889, up from $4,403.
