COE prices close mostly lower
Certificates of entitlement (COE) premiums ended mostly lower in the bidding exercise on Wednesday from two weeks before.
COE prices for Category A cars (1600cc and below) dropped to $65,889 from $67,089 in the previous bidding.
Premiums for Category B cars (above 1600cc or 130 bhp) fell to $74,000 from $74,389.
Prices for open category COEs, which can be used for any vehicle type but are largely used for bigger cars, declined to $73,990 from $76,904.
Commercial vehicles COEs, which include goods vehicles and buses, closed at $52,100, down from $60,001.
Premiums for motorcycles ended at $4,312, higher than the $4,210 close in the previous bidding exercise.
