Computex 2024 Date
Computex 2024 officially kicked off on Tuesday, June 4, 2024, and ran until Friday, June 7, 2024. Unlike Computex 2023, the conference opened with a keynote from AMD CEO Dr. Lisa Su, who has traditionally opened Computex events in the past, although she was bumped last year for Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang.
Qualcomm and Intel also had major keynote addresses as well, and unsurprisingly the AI PC theme that we've seen throughout 2024 has also been a big theme at Computex 2024.
Beyond that, we expect other manufacturers to announce new products from companies big and small such as Asus, Acer, AMD, Intel, Gigabyte, MSI, Nvidia, and many more throughout the week.

Lexar reveals incredibly fast SSDs, RAM and other storage innovations at Computex 2024
Lexar has unveiled a host of new storage solutions at Computex 2024 which includes PCIe Gen 5.0 and Gen 4.0 NVMe SSDs, as well as RAM and flash memory.
A total of four new internal SSDs have been announced with the Lexar Professional NM1090 M.2 Gen 5.0 NVMe leading the charge. It's available in capacities from 1TB to 4TB with a rated sequential performance of 12,000MB/s reads and 11,000MB/s writes. That's fast enough to put the frighteners on some of the best SSDs for gaming.

MSI introduces the world’s first AI gaming monitor at Computex 2024
The theme of computing in 2024 is very much the AI PC, but MSI is taking that one step further with the world’s first AI gaming monitor, the MSI MEG 321URX QD-OLED display, announced this week at Computex 2024.

Intel announces new Lunar Lake series of chips with enhanced AI processor
Intel lifted the curtain on its latest processor series, codenamed Lunar Lake at Computex 2024, with the new chips expected to show up in ultra thin and light laptops by the end of 2024.
The new system-on-a-chip (SoC) introduces a number of innovations over the current-gen Meteor Lake SoCs like the Intel Core and Core Ultra processors, with Intel claiming better power efficiency, a 4x increase in NPU processing power, a 50% faster Intel Arc GPU based on its next-gen Arc Battlemage architecture, and on-chip memory for a smaller footprint and faster memory access, and will be Intel's first Copilot+ PC processors.

AMD announces new X870 and X870E motherboards for new Ryzen 9000 CPUs
AMD has announced two new motherboard chipsets at Computex 2024 for its upcoming AMD Ryzen 9000 processors, X870 and X870E, which boast some improvements over older models.
Previous generation Ryzen 8000 and Ryzen 7000 CPUs are also confirmed as compatible with upcoming motherboards that feature this chipset, which is good news for people with older hardware looking to upgrade.

The new Asus Zenbook S 16 appears to be the company's answer to the MacBook Pro M3, packing in a 16-inch 3K Lumina OLED display clocked at 120Hz which will feature the brand new Ryzen AI 9 SoC.
There are also RDNA 3 integrated graphics inside as well, which if recent leaked benchmarks can be believed, can rival some older discrete graphics solutions. Depending on your region, there's a maximum of 32GB LPDDR5x RAM inside with 1TB Gen 4.0 NVMe, too.
Previous leaks from back in May were accurate when considering the newly revamped Asus TUF Gaming A16 and A14 machines. It features an excellent QHD+ display clocked at 165Hz with a peak brightness of 400 nits apiece. They will both support up to an RTX 4070 with 8GB GDDR6 VRAM, 32GB LPDDR5x, and up to a 2TB NVMe Gen 4.0 SSD.

AMD's Ryzen AI 300 series mobile processors have been announced, and it looks like they will be seriously powerful when it comes to on-device AI, with a boosted NPU (Neural Processing Unit) that'll focus on artificial intelligence tasks, such as using Microsoft Copilot.
Two chips have been announced: the AMD Ryzen AI 9 HX 370 and the AMD Ryzen AI 9 365. The former is a 12-core/24-thread processor with Radeon 890M graphics, a max boost clock of 5.1GHz, and 36MB cache. The Ryzen AI 9 365, meanwhile, features 10 cores, 20 threads, a max boost clock of 5.0GHz, and 34MB cache. Both chips feature a 50 TOPS NPU.

Lastly, while we didn't get to go hands-on with the suite of AI-powered MSI laptops, the new lineup is definitely encouraging. This includes the teased Intel Core Ultra 200 (Lunar Lake) machines which claim up to three times the performance of Meteor Lake inside. This means 100 TOPS of AI performance with the CPU, GPU, and NPU in tandem.
Speaking to the Prestige series, there are going to be three sizes to choose from including 13, 14, and 16-inch variants. MSI claims the Prestige 13 AI+ Evo will weigh in at just 2.1 lbs / 990g with a 75W battery for "all-day uninterrupted battery life". The Summit 13 AI+ Evo, aimed at business use, will also feature Lunar Lake silicon with its 13-inch 2-in-1 flip design.
Gamers and creatives also seem covered with the MSI Stealth A16 AI and MSI Creator A16 AI. These rigs are built with the new Ryuzen AI 300 series processors in mind with up to 12 cores and 24 threads for more powerful performance. RTX 40 series discrete graphics will be included, but it's unknown if this will range up to RTX 4090 or not at this time.
