Coronation Street spoilers follow.

Coronation Street has confirmed the official details of a grisly new storyline, as a dead body is found on Ed and Ronnie Bailey's new building site next week.

The Bailey brothers are in for a nasty shock as one of Stephen Reid's victims is found while early work is being carried out on their new property development project.

Next week, Dee-Dee Bailey points out that the siblings are taking a risk by starting work on the site before completion of the purchase.

Dee-Dee gets Ronnie to sign some forms confirming that he's happy to proceed.

The timing couldn't be worse, as Ed soon spots the digger driver looking troubled on the site.

By the time Ronnie arrives, Ed is already talking to Craig Tinker, who's in police uniform.

Ronnie is appalled as he peers into the hole and sees what has caused so much commotion – the digger has unearthed a dead body.

Back at the Rovers Return, Jenny Connor continues to enjoy her new romance with Stephen. She tells him that it's time he moves into the pub properly.

Stephen couldn't be happier, but his mood changes from joy to horror when he learns that a body has been found on Ed and Ronnie's building site.

Matching the location to the place where he buried Leo Thompkins' body, Stephen finds himself in turmoil and makes out that he's got a migraine as he rushes off to gather his thoughts.

Later, Stephen can't resist asking Ed for more details of what's happening at the building site.

The killer's worst fears are confirmed when Ed reveals that it was a man's body.
