1. Coronation Street: Kelly's explosive exit

The truth is out about Rick's murder and Kelly is hell-bent on making Gary pay for killing her father. Approaching Todd on the pretence of asking for a friend, she enquires if he has got any shady contacts, but he dismisses her.

Kelly is then summoned to the police station to identify her attacker, and after making out that she has never seen Kieron before, she approaches the villain and offers him £10,000 to kill Gary.

With her plan coming together, Kelly then tells Aadi she has booked their tickets to Bangkok, but fails to mention they're one-way.

Later, with the engagement party in full swing, Kelly is overcome with hatred and tells Gary that she knows what he did to her dad. Running after her, Gary finds Kelly standing on the Street with Kieron, and before he can do anything, he's knocked out cold and thrown into a van.

Arriving at their destination, Kieron and fellow thug Al lead Gary through the woods to the same spot where he killed Rick. They hold him at gunpoint and force him to start digging his own grave.

As events spiral, Kelly too finds herself in mortal danger when Kieron takes her to the roof of a disused mill and unveils his plan to murder then frame her for Gary's murder. Moments later the firearm goes off – has Kelly been killed?

2. Emmerdale: Liam makes a move on Bernice

As Leyla and Liam struggle to move forward, the recovering addict breaks down on Priya, admitting she may have damaged her marriage beyond repair.

Leyla isn't the only one needing to offload, as Liam turns to former flame Bernice for comfort. The exes start reminiscing over happier times, and caught up in the moment, vulnerable Liam moves in for a kiss.

Bernice is shocked by the GP's advances and pulls away, insisting he needs to tell his wife what just happened. However, Liam can't bring himself to admit the truth and is delighted when an emotional Leyla agrees to give things another go.

Watching on from afar, Bernice sees Leyla crying and wrongly assumes Liam must have told her about his indiscretion. Wanting to clear the air, Bernice approaches her friend and mentions the kiss, leaving Leyla floored by her husband's betrayal.

3. EastEnders: Janine's pregnant

Knowing she has got a battle on her hands to keep hold of Mick, Janine surprises her fella with a romantic day trip, despite feeling under the weather.

Janine soon learns it's going to clash with Linda's meeting with her solicitor, and realising she would benefit from her love rival regaining custody of Annie, Janine urges Mick to go.

Later, Sonia brings a sick Scarlett to The Vic and Janine is convinced they've caught the same bug. But as she tends to her daughter, events take an unexpected turn when Janine suddenly faints.

Sonia accompanies her to the hospital, where the doctors reveal Janine is actually pregnant. Straight away, Sonia urges Janine to tell Mick about the baby, but she wrestles with what to do.

At the same time, over at Sharon's, Mick is telling Linda how much he still cares for her and will help her fight to get Annie back.

As the day of Linda's hearing arrives, the nervous mum decides it's time to profess her love for Mick, unaware that Janine is carrying his baby. Is she heading for heartbreak?

4. Hollyoaks: Victor kidnaps Sid

(Tuesday at 7pm on E4 and Wednesday at 6.30pm on Channel 4)

Despite Juliet warning him to stay away from Victor, Sid agrees to accompany the dangerous dealer to his mum's funeral, knowing what it feels like to lose a parent. However, it soon becomes clear Victor is hatching a sinister plan when he makes a call from prison.

As the day of the send-off arrives, Sid insists he'll be safe as Victor will be surrounded by armed guards, but anxious Juliet isn't convinced and decides to go check on him.

Juliet's fears are realised after the funeral when Victor puts his escape plan into action, taking Sid and Juliet captive. History repeats itself when the drugs lord orders Sid to sell a load of gear, warning if he doesn't succeed, Juliet will pay.

5. Emmerdale: Millie and Clemmie clash

Tensions are running high at Home Farm as Millie and Clemmie clash over their new family dynamic.

It's not just the youngsters who are at odds, and an argument soon erupts between Kim and Dawn when the lady of the manor coldly declares Clemmie probably won't be staying long-term.

Annoyed by Kim's decision to make her foster child swap bedrooms with Millie, Dawn starts to panic about her upcoming visit from social services.

With everyone seemingly unable to co-exist under one roof, Gabby announces she and Thomas will move in with Bernice for a while, but Kim's livid and blames Clemmie.

Later on, Dawn is overjoyed when social services confirm Clemmie can stay. But her happiness turns to horror when she hears a scream and Millie accuses Clemmie of biting her.

6. Coronation Street: Leo rumbles Stephen

When panic-stricken David reveals that he thinks the sinkhole in his garden is opening up again, Leo offers to conduct a full survey. But as Audrey suggests the Platts stay with her while the work is carried out, Leo clocks Stephen's unease.

With his suspicions aroused, Leo reckons Stephen is hiding something, and the penny finally drops when Audrey reveals she returned from her spa day early to find a valuer from the estate agents in her house.

Leo confronts the dodgy businessman and the pair come to blows, but when David threatens to ring the police, Stephen is quick to stop him.

Stephen begins trying to explain himself, only to be interrupted by the sudden arrival of his wife, Gabrielle. But that's the least of Stephen's worries when Leo declares he's going to do whatever it takes to bring him down.

7. EastEnders: Alfie moves back to the Square

Embarking on the next phase of his plan to win back Kat, Alfie sets up a stall on the market to try and raffle off his boat. Unimpressed, Kat tells Alfie he has outstayed his welcome in Walford, but it's clear she's getting a kick from seeing him back in action.

Alfie's legendary banter attracts a crowd, but just as the raffle starts to gain momentum, Honey orders him to clear the unlicensed stall – much to Phil's delight. Alfie's not down on his luck just yet though, and jumps at the chance when Jean offers him a place to stay at Number 31.

Later, Phil and Kat are annoyed to discover that Alfie is going to be their new neighbour. And as Phil's insecurities over his love rival mount, he admits to Kat he heard Alfie confessing his love for her.

8. Hollyoaks: The McQueens worry about Silas

(Thursday at 7pm on E4 and Friday at 6.30pm on Channel 4)

Goldie's up to her old tricks this week when she blackmails Tony into letting her be the fortune teller for the carnival. But as she uses her mystic powers to do a reading on Diane, she gets a terrifying premonition that something dreadful is going to happen.

Believing Silas is about to strike, Goldie confides in Yazz and Jack, unaware they're recording her for their podcast. The McQueens are raging when they hear about the Silas scoop, and John Paul begs Yazz to take it down, warning her what the serial killer is capable of.

Meanwhile, Mercedes decides she and Bobby would be safest away from the village.

9. Home and Away: Tane takes the fall

(Wednesday at 1.45pm on Channel 5)

As Tex is refused bail, Rose confides in Xander that Tane was involved in bringing down the bikies. He agrees to keep quiet about his police collaboration, but as news of the gang's arrest makes the local newspaper, Tane and Nikau find themselves at the centre of the drama.

With all eyes on the Parata pair, Rose warns they must ignore the negative press coverage and not risk blowing their cover. But as gossip swirls, Nikau learns from John that the surf committee are reviewing his position as a paid lifeguard.

Unable to defend himself, Nikau is powerless and forced to admit defeat when the committee revoke his dream job. In despair, he turns on Tane, who bravely decides to take the fall for his nephew.

Seeking out John, Tane explains his involvement with the bikies and insists Nikau was at the scene because he was looking for him. His sacrifice earns Nikau his lifeguard job back, but John warns Tane this could spell the end of his gym lease at the surf club.
