Coronation Street star Stephanie Davis confirms nasty ankle injury
Former Hollyoaks star turned Coronation Street actress Stephanie Davis has revealed she's on crutches after injuring her ankle.
Taking to her Instagram Story on Tuesday (August 23), Stephanie shared a video of her swollen ankle, though she didn't reveal how she injured it.
"I can't lift my leg up that way or put weight down on it," she explained to her followers. "I can't even put the ice down on it because it's literally, I've done it right on that bone."

In another Instagram update, the soap star revealed that she went to the hospital for an X-ray and, while her ankle isn't broken, she needs to use crutches until she can put weight on it again.
"Hey guys! Thanks for the messages of love! Update, I'm on crutches until I can bear weight on it again but it's not broken, which is a relief!! Just very very sore and very swollen and seized up," Stephanie wrote.
"Thanks for all the lovely messages. It's way past my granny bed time now so I'm going to get some sleep and rest this foot. Sweet dreams."

Stephanie recently made her Corrie debut as Courtney Vance – who, dissatisfied with her marriage to Darren, made a pass on Dev Alahan's son Aadi, resulting in a steamy affair storyline.
Discussing the storyline with Digital Spy, Stephanie said: "It happens quite quickly.
"Courtney is definitely attracted to Aadi, but I think a lot of it comes from her relationship with Darren because he's cheated on her multiple times. That obviously affects your self-worth and confidence.
"So a lot of it is Courtney wanting to get one back on her husband. But she also wants someone to love her and Aadi shows that to her, giving her that affection."
