Coronation Street's Damon Hay to deceive Sarah Barlow in new Harvey story

Coronation Street's Damon Hay is set to deceive Sarah Barlow as part of the Harvey Gaskell storyline.
Viewers will know that Damon's jailed brother recently threatened him from prison, saying he will harm his partner Sarah unless Damon helped with a criminal job that Harvey has been masterminding.
Worried about what could happen to Sarah, Damon has been going along with Harvey's demands – even though he had previously vowed to turn away from criminality.

In new scenes set to air next Monday (March 11), Sarah and Damon share their excitement as they show Gail Platt the details of a house they plan to look at, having made plans to move into a bigger place.
However, Damon calls Harvey and threatens to go to the police unless he gives him a slice of the profits from the job. He also makes out to Sarah that he has been talking to his financial advisor, telling her they can afford to buy their dream house.
Will Sarah find out the true source of the money, and will Damon's involvement in Harvey's scheme end in tears?

Speaking recently about Sarah and Damon's relationship and whether Sarah should be worried, star Tina O'Brien explained: "Yes I am, I'm really worried. I do truly believe that Damon's got her best interests at heart.
"I believe he means what he says to her, but unfortunately with the life he's led and the people that he knows, the temptations to get involved in something dodgy could be too great."
