Coronation Street's Dylan Wilson receives sinister threat after being caught out

Coronation Street spoilers follow.

Coronation Street tonight featured a sinister threat to Dylan Wilson after he was caught out over bullying Liam Connor.

Early in tonight’s episodes, Liam’s parents tried to get him help after they found out he’d been contemplating suicide. Liam met with a doctor alongside his mum and said that he just wanted to stop feeling so bad. He was referred to a mental health unit, but Maria was left feeling deflated when she was informed that there was a waiting list.

Later, ringleader Mason Radcliffe goaded Gary in the park. Gary threatened to wipe the smirk off of Mason’s face and warned both him and Dylan that if either of them went near Liam again, he’d beat them up.

Undeterred, Mason couldn't resist warning that Liam should watch his back. Gary grabbed Mason, pushing him to the ground.

Sean, who was walking past, pulled Gary off of Mason and told Gary he was wrong in his accusations. Later, Sean told Eileen and George what happened, but wanting to put the issue to bed once and for all, he insisted Dylan give him his phone and allow him to check his messages.

Dylan reluctantly did so and Sean was mortified to discover his son was a bully.

"You've taken us all for fools, cracking on like Liam's bullying you, when it's YOU that's the bully," he screamed at Dylan, before laying into him about a homophobic message.

"You sent nasty messages to Liam, including a homophobic one. You've got a gay dad," he said, before adding: "I am ashamed of you!"

Later, Sean apologised to both Gary and Liam. He also assured them that he’d hand over all the evidence on Dylan’s phone to headteacher Mrs. Crawshaw.

Dylan also promised Gary that he’d tell the truth to Mrs. Crawshaw, but later, Mason turned up at the house and instructed Dylan to lie.

Mason warned that if Dylan told the truth he would be in massive trouble and would receive the same treatment Liam did! What will Dylan do?

Coronation Street airs on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 8pm on ITV1 and streams on ITVX.
