Coronation Street's Jenny Connor confesses her shameful secret to Carla Barlow next week.
Jenny is backed into a corner when Bethany Platt starts asking awkward questions over how the Rovers Return was brought back from the brink.
Bethany smells a rat when she sees Daisy Midgeley weighed down with shopping bags on the street following a major spending spree.
Daisy lies that her purchases came from charity shops in Alderley Edge, but Bethany later overhears Jenny warning Daisy that her spending could arouse suspicion over where the money came from. Cabbie Tim Metcalfe also confirms that he picked Daisy up from the city centre, blowing her cover story.

Later in the week, Bethany seizes her chance to play detective when she and Daniel Osbourne are invited to enjoy a double date at The Rovers with Daisy and Ryan Connor.
Bethany sabotages Daisy by secretly turning up the oven, which ruins the apple pie that Daisy is baking for dessert.
Daisy rushes out to buy a replacement, which gives Bethany an opportunity to search through her things.
Bethany is intrigued to stumble across Stephen Reid's journal, which Daisy previously used to find out his secret bank account details and track down the money that he stole from Carla.

Before long, Bethany voices her theory that Daisy and Jenny took the money for themselves and used it to buy back The Rovers.
Carla initially dismisses Bethany's theories, but she later notices the obvious tension between Daisy and Jenny.
Pushed to breaking point, Jenny tells Carla that they did steal the money but they had every intention of paying it back.
Can Carla forgive Jenny for betraying her like this?
