Coronation Street's Mason and Dylan to face backlash over bullying Liam

Coronation Street bullies Mason Radcliffe and Dylan Wilson both face angry reactions over their treatment of Liam Connor next week.

The teens are about to be exposed for making Liam's life a misery over the past few months, although the story is far from over.

This week's episodes see devastating scenes air, as Liam plans to take his own life following months of Mason's torment.

Maria fears the worst when Liam's suicidal thoughts are revealed via the search history on his school computer. When Maria rushes to track down Liam at their family's flat, she's relieved to find that he didn't go through with his tragic plans.

In the aftermath next week, Maria and her husband Gary Windass try to focus on getting Liam the professional help he needs.

But Mason still isn't far away and he goads Gary, warning that Liam still needs to watch his back.

Gary is left furious and attacks Mason, throwing him to the ground. Dylan's deluded dad Sean Tully intervenes and comes to Mason's rescue, threatening to report Gary to the police.

Back at the Grimshaw house, Sean vows to clear Dylan's name following the ongoing accusations that he bullied Liam.

Sean orders Dylan to hand over his phone, but as he searches through his son's messages, a look of horror appears on his face as the truth finally dawns on him.

Later in the week, Dylan's birthday arrives and Eileen Grimshaw, George Shuttleworth and Mary Taylor all make a fuss of him.

Sean barely joins in, unable to look at Dylan after discovering the way he has behaved.

Dylan feels guilty as he unwraps a watch and sees that Sean had it engraved in a sweet gesture.

Eileen encourages Sean to sit down and talk to Dylan properly, but will he give his troubled son a chance to explain himself?

Coronation Street airs these scenes on Monday, February 19 and Wednesday, February 21.
