Coronation Street's Paddy Bever and Cait Fitton share real-life friendship
Coronation Street stars Paddy Bever and Cait Fitton have shared their real-life friendship with some photos from their holiday together.
The pair, who play Max Turner and Lauren Bolton respectively, might not appear together on the ITV soap anymore following Fitton's exit, but their bond remained strong off-screen after holidaying in Tenerife.
"10/10 - Tenerife" wrote Fitton on an Instagram post, which included photos of the sunset and selfies with her former co-star. Bever, who made his debut on the soap in 2021, commented in response: "so much fun xx".

Whilst Lauren might not be on the soap anymore, Max is still in the thick of the drama, with the youngster recently being released from a detention centre following his involvement with an extremist gang.
Seeking to move on with his life, Max strikes up a close bond with Bec, the ex-girlfriend of his mate Gav, but Bever hinted that Max's past will come back to haunt him in the midst of his redemption.
"It's an unexpected partner for Max. Max is also an unexpected partner for that person," he said. "The partner might not exactly know who Max is and what he's done – and this person might be forced to come to terms with that.

"I'm pleased [with Max's redemptive arc], because I want it to be as close to real life as possible. These things don't happen overnight. Radicalisation is a very serious thing and it happens a lot – far more than people would think.
"In Max's case, he had a while of being dragged into this place where he was lied to a lot – and a lot of things were fed into his head," he added. "There comes a point where he has to say: 'What I did was wrong and the organisation I was involved with was wrong.'"
