Coronation Street's Sam and Hope make a big decision on Halloween date

Sam Blakeman and Hope Stape are set to make a big decision during their upcoming Halloween date on Coronation Street.
While the two children became each other's first boyfriend and girlfriend earlier this year, they split after Hope's jealousy over Sam's friendship with Eliza took an extreme turn, with Hope starting a fire at Eliza's birthday party.
However, the pair are set to reconcile in new scenes after Sam convinces dad Nick Tilsley to throw a Halloween party at the Bistro – despite Nick's reservations after Sam's mum Natasha was killed in a Halloween costume two years ago – as Sam invites Hope.

In the upcoming scenes, the party gets underway in the Bistro after Sam gives Nick his blessing to throw it, insisting its what his mum would have wanted.
Nick takes Sam and Hope to their table, and during their dinner date, the two agree to give their relationship another try.
The two reconciling was previously teased by Sam actor Jude Riordan, who told Digital Spy in August: "Since Sam and Hope broke up, there's been a space between them. But as it goes on, they're going to start getting closer together again."

Show boss Iain MacLeod said earlier this year of the pair: "Hope and Sam, we're taking as our benchmark 'PJ and Duncan'. What if we can take these kids that are, like, 10 and grow them for a decade into this incredibly rich friendship?
"That's what we're hoping to do – obviously both of those actors are so talented that they might very well be off to Hollywood by the time they're 14. But if we can keep them, we're trying to PJ and Duncan them up."
Coronation Street airs on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 8pm on ITV1 and streams on ITVX.
