Coronation Street's Sarah and Adam in hurtful row over Harry

Coronation Street spoilers follow.

Coronation Street's Sarah Barlow faces disapproval from her estranged husband Adam next week as they clash over her young son Harry.

Sarah is unimpressed when Adam questions her decision to risk Harry's safety by reuniting with dangerous Damon Hay.

Viewers have recently seen Damon try to charm Sarah into reconciling with him. His efforts ultimately pay off when Sarah spends the night with him again.

Wanting to take the relationship seriously, Sarah invites Damon to join her family for a drink.

Damon agrees, but admits that he needs to pay a visit to his jailed brother Harvey Gaskell first. Adam watches on from afar and is jealous to see Sarah and Damon looking so cosy together.

Later, word gets back to Adam that Damon has been visiting Harvey in prison. Damon is currently defying pressure from Harvey, who wants him to be part of a new criminal job.

Sarah's mum Gail, grandmother Audrey and brother Nick all disapprove as Damon joins them for drinks at the Bistro.

The awkward moment is interrupted when Adam storms over, telling Sarah that he knows all about Damon's visit to Harvey.

Adam declares that he doesn't want Damon anywhere near Harry, but he's quickly reminded that Harry is not his son. Adam is devastated by this remark.

Fuelled by anger, Adam calls the prison and makes his own appointment to visit Harvey, clearly planning a deal with the devil in his mission to take down Damon.

Coronation Street's producer Iain MacLeod previously teased: "As Damon's calming down, Adam's going in the other direction and he plans to rid himself of Damon.

"We'll see him pay a little visit to Damon's half-brother Harvey, because he's no fan of Damon's either. They might form an unholy alliance. They have a shared problem in the form of Damon and think they can help each other in that regard."

Coronation Street airs on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 8pm on ITV1 and streams on ITVX.
