Coronation Street's Stu Carpenter struggles over Yasmeen and Roy friendship

Stu Carpenter will continue to struggle on Coronation Street in the wake of Yasmeen Metcalfe and Roy Cropper's growing friendship.
Stu has grown jealous over recent weeks as the pair have gotten closer, and these feelings persist in scenes that air next week.
With the duo anointing themselves as the ideal pub quiz team, Stu confides to Alya his fears of impending rejection - that Yasmeen has lost interest in him and now favours Roy.

Alya reassures Stu that their relationship is merely a friendship, and urges Stu to focus on Yasmeen by taking an interest in what she likes to do.
With a newfound sense of impetus, Stu organises for the couple to partake in an art course, with Yasmeen being delighted at the news. She's so ecstatic that she decides to inform Roy of the news, leaving Stu unhappy as he explains that he organised the course solely for their benefit.
Yasmeen apologises and admits that she has perhaps neglected Stu, before promising to devote more time to their relationship in a bid to patch things up. With the pair clearing the air, can things go back to what they once were?

It's not the only upcoming development for Stu, with his and granddaughter Eliza’s storyline being revisited; the youngster has been living with Stu and Yasmeen following her mother's incarceration for murder.
Eliza will receive the news that her mum, Bridget, will be relocated to a prison in the North East, meaning her already-limited visiting time will diminish.
Distraught at the prospect of not seeing her mum, Eliza begins to speak to the mysterious Dom; it's currently unknown who he is and what, if any, danger he poses to both Stu and Eliza…
