Corrie's Lucy Fallon hints at engagement in reality show

Coronation Street actress Lucy Fallon has hinted she may have got engaged while filming the new reality show Drama Queens.

Also featuring recent Strictly Come Dancing champion Ellie Leach, Brooke Vincent, Jamelia and EastEnders favourite Rita Simons, the eight-episode ITVBe series offers fans a glimpse into the real lives of soap stars as they juggle their many work and family commitments.

Fallon, who plays Corrie's Bethany Platt, spoke about her partner Ryan Ledson's involvement in the show – and teased an "exciting" development for the couple.

Fallon said that her partner, who's a professional footballer, had "really enjoyed" filming the show.

She took some time off to coincide with his mid-season break, and added that they'd chosen to film their long weekend in Amsterdam for the show.

When Fallon was asked, "is the only thing missing now a ring?" she replied: "It is [our] first proper getaway as a couple.

"We had one night away for my birthday but this will be a few days so it will be really nice... and watch this space. Something exciting could happen you never know!"

While considering what's next for her career, Fallon dropped another engagement hint, adding: "I am hoping for some nice big juicy storylines. Maybe having another baby in the next year or so. Maybe getting married! So just a few things.

"I'd love it if there was a second series of Drama Queens too! That would definitely be something I'd sign up for."

Fallon and Ledson have been dating since 2021 and are parents to a baby boy called Sonny.

Drama Queens premieres Wednesday, April 10 at 9pm on ITVBe and ITVX.
