Curious Mountain Lion Loiters on Colorado Porch
An adventurous mountain lion was spotted on the porch of a home in Westcliffe, Colorado, on January 20.
Video filmed by Elizabeth Bigman shows the mountain lion peep through a window of the home before making its way towards a line of trees.
Bigman commented that she was sitting by the window when she first caught glimpse of the animal, and that she initially thought it was a large dog.
“Turned to look and it was this gorgeous mountain lion not 5 feet from me! He was super calm – just stayed there next to me for a minute or so, looking around, then sauntered off,” said Bigman. Credit: Elizabeth Bigman via Storyful
