Daisy Edgar-Jones Blew Us Away in a Dramatic Vivienne Westwood Corset Gown
We know method dressing is a big deal on the red carpet, and any star of the moment’s promo tour run is the perfect example. Case in point? Zendaya took tenniscore to the max, and of course, Margot Robbie will forever be a Barbie dream. While a bit more understated but nonetheless as chic as you can expect, Daisy Edgar-Jones certainly gave us some of that vibe on the red carpet.
On July 8, the actor stepped out at the Twisters European movie premiere in London alongside her costar Glen Powell. Of course, the Normal People alum went above and beyond in the fashion department, opting to wear a brown, floor-length Vivienne Westwood gown. Sounds simple, right?
Wrong!
The 'fit featured a corseted, strapless bodice that highlighted the designer's typical silhouette, with a high-leg slit and a flowing chiffon skirt ruched at the waist. The top was draped with a black cape over one shoulder that was dramatic AF in the best way. The flow of the dress, the sweeping sculptural bodice, the striking silhouette, the stark color palette was all giving...Twisters dare we say. 👀
Daisy finished the look with a pair of patent black-heeled pumps and a minimal selection of gold jewelry
FYI, the story follows Kate after a devastating encounter with a tornado, where she gets lured back to the open plains by her friend Javi (played by Anthony Ramos) to test a groundbreaking new tracking system. Tyler Owens (played by Glen) soon appears and the three then find themselves in a fight for their lives as multiple systems converge over central Oklahoma.
We remain totally blown away (sorry).
And so while we eagerly await the film’s release, we look forward to Daisy turning more looks for her Twisters tour.
