Dakota Johnson kept her feet comfy and casual for her day of work.
The actress wore a pair of black Nike Daybreak sneakers. The brand’s signature swoosh mark along the side of the shoe is white. The outer sole is white and the bottom is a rubber waffled texture that is brown in color and goes up towards the rounded-toe. The sneakers are made of suede and synthetic leather.
Johnson showed off her sporty look while exiting a classic yellow New York City taxicab during filming for her new movie “Materialists” with Pedro Pascal. The 34-year-old shot scenes in the Tribeca neighborhood on May 9, 2024.
Johnson’s love of Nike sneakers goes far back. In the spring of 2017, she was seen walking around Los Angeles in another pair of black shoes from the brand. The “50 Shades” star wore a pair of running sneakers in 2023 that were black and white speckled, and even earlier in the day of Johnson’s latest set of photos, she was seen wearing a different pair of brown of Nike shoes.

The Nike Daybreak women’s sneakers are a vintage looking running shoe. Originally released in 1979, the shoe still sports the same rubber waffle outsole. It has a foam outsole that is lightweight and provides cushioning to keep the feet comfortable all day long. The shoe has suede and synthetic leather overlays to provide am 80s look.
