Damaged Russian Military Equipment Displayed in Kyiv Ahead of Ukrainian Independence Day

Damaged Russian military equipment was put on display in the centre of Kyiv, Ukraine, over the weekend ahead of the country’s Independence Day, footage released by the Ministry of Defense shows.

Footage released on Sunday, August 21, shows people walking among the armored vehicles.

Local media reported that the display was part of celebrations ahead of Ukraine’s Independence Day on August 24, which will also mark six months since the beginning of the war. Credit: Ministry of Defense of Ukraine via Storyful
