Dancing on Ice has confirmed the final two celebrity contestants to take part in the 2024 series.

Emmerdale star Roxy Shahidi and former Coronation Street star Ryan Thomas were announced as the eleventh and twelfth celebrities for the next series of the hit ITV skating show, which will arrive on screens early next year.

The two soap stars, who complete the Dancing on Ice line-up, were both unveiled on Steph's Packed Lunch today (October 6).

Steph McGovern teased a bar of soap as a clue to the two contestants' identity, with an ice skate in a block of ice additionally on display in the studio.

Roxy was the first to be announced, closely followed by Ryan, who both joined Steph on the sofa to talk about their upcoming skating challenge.

"I am so nervous about it," admitted Roxy, who shared that she's kept the news a secret from friends and family. In contrast, Ryan admitted that he's "told everyone".

Roxy claimed that Ryan has "had two lessons" ahead of his skating skint, which the soap actor didn't deny. "The competition has already started," he joked of his co-competitor announcing his secret training.

Ryan and Roxy are two of four soap stars that will be taking to the ice next year, with EastEnders star Ricky Norwood, plus Brookside and Coronation Street actress Claire Sweeney also signed up for the 2024 show.

The additional line-up includes broadcaster Adele Roberts, Gogglebox legend Stephen Lustig-Webb, Olympic champion and former Strictly Come Dancing star Greg Rutherford, S Club 7 singer Hannah Spearritt, stand-up comedian and Taskmaster series 8 champion Lou Sanders, reality TV talent Miles Nazaire of Made in Chelsea fame and Love Island's Amber Davies, plus world champion boxer Ricky Hatton.

The Dancing on Ice celebrity line-up is now complete but fans are still awaiting news of This Morning presenter Holly Willoughby's new co-host on the show, following Phillip Schofield's departure from the channel in May.

ITV is also yet to officially confirm the Dancing on Ice judging panel for 2024, but it's expected that skating icons Jayne Torvill and Christopher Dean, plus Diversity star Ashley Banjo and Strictly's Oti Mabuse will all return for next year's series.

Dancing on Ice will return to ITV and ITVX in early 2024.
