Dancing on Ice 2024 winner spoilers follow.

Dancing on Ice's future has been confirmed during the 2024 finale.

At the end of yesterday's (March 10) episode, which saw Ryan Thomas crowned as the latest winner, Stephen Mulhern told viewers that the show would be back in 2025 with a whole new class of celebrities.

Jayne Torvill and Christopher Dean are expected to return as well, recently stating on The One Show that they are a permanent part of the show now.

The confirmation comes as rumours have swirled that the show will be axed again, as ratings have been on a continual downward trend for years. The 2021 launch show saw 5.4 million tune in, while the two launches after that hovered around the low 4 million mark, and this year's launch show managed 3.6 million.

These numbers don't include catching up on streaming, and obviously the traditional broadcasters are generally finding their numbers dwindling due to the huge amount of competition there is nowadays.

Ryan Thomas and professional partner Amani Fancy were announced as the winners last night, beating Miles Nazaire and Vanessa Bauer and Adele Roberts and Mark Hanretty to the crown.

"I'm speechless. I just can't... I'm so happy for Amani, because she's put so much work into this," Ryan said when he won.

He dedicated his trophy to Greg Rutherford, who was meant to compete in the finale but had to pull out on the morning of due an injury that required him to go to hospital.

Rutherford said that he was "devastated" to have to drop out, calling it "a nightmare way for this to finish."

Dancing on Ice can be streamed on ITVX.
